The sweet day of love has transformed immensely since its initiation during the time of Rome’s “Claudius, the Cruel”. When, in 1850, Esther A Howland pioneered the tradition of a Valentine’s card in USA, she was deemed as the “Mother of American Valentine”. Later, in the second half of the twentieth century, this trend extended to flowers, chocolates and jewellery.

Lovers around the world are displaying affection to their loved ones using eco-friendly ways in a bid to reduce their carbon footprint.
