Highly Effective Skincare Habits

You know the basics — drink plenty of water, get enough sleep, and wash your face, but what about everything in between? Luckily, there’s no need to shell out tons of cash on any magical procedures to achieve flawless skin. It simply takes some highly effective habits. Here are our favorites:

Moisturize both day and night.
The best times to moisturize are right after you get out of the shower and right before you go to bed. Avoid lotions with heavy fragrances and make sure you find a moisturizer gentle enough for every day use with zero irritation. Spring for an essential oil free serum – that way there is no build up of any unnecessary ingredients, no scent and we make them for morning, noon and night.

Vitamins should go on your skin, too.
A balanced diet is important, but there’s more than one way to give your skin vitamins. There are also topical antioxidants, which are serums and creams that contain ingredients that nourish the skin (think vitamin C serum!).

Don’t neglect your boobs.
Did you know that your chest contains some of the thinnest skin on your entire body? That’s why it’s SO important to moisturize. It’s also one of the first places we show aging. Breast care is as important as any other skincare habit. Daily breast care maintenance has been shown to decrease sagging, increase prolactin (the hormone responsible for breast growth), moisturize, plump and firm breasts over time.

Keep your skincare simple.
Too many products leads to too many problems. Also, if your skin starts freaking out, it becomes hard to narrow down the culprit if you’re using a thousand things in your routine! Skincare routines can be so simple: a gentle cleanser, light tonerdaytime moisturizer and nighttime serum. No need to get too fancy!
