"Barely There" All Natural Makeup

Beauty Blog DIY Green Beauty Green Makeup Modeling

So, the missing piece in changing my entire life to all natural products was to step up my Green Makeup Game.  When I first started receiving samples of different All Natural Makeup in my monthly Goodebox, I was determined to eventually make the switch completely.  I’ve recently started bringing my own all natural products to shoots and handing them over to the MakeUp Artist before they even get a chance to contemplate what shade of toxic chemicals is best for me to wear and inhale all day.

This has had a lovely and unintended consequence: they all end up completely falling in love with the all natural products!  I don’t know how many Makeup Artists have told me that they didn’t even know that healthy makeup alternatives existed!   I consistently have to bring up websites on my phone and ensure them that yes, this is all natural and YES it stays on my face and YES it works and no a buncha hippies from Colorado don’t make it (okay… sometimes. 😉 ) but that it’s widely available and often times really inexpensive!

I am SO excited to start sharing some of these looks with you, since I’m starting to see some of the final images from recent photo shoots popping up in my inbox!  For my first look, I’ll go with what’s most comfortable for me: The “Barely There” Look!

For those of you who hang out with me regularly, you know I don’t wear makeup unless I absolutely have to, and if I do put a little something on, it’s never over the top.

This is a great way to achieve that “barely there” look but still give yourself a nice glow and even skin tone!
