We all know at least one woman with seemingly perfect skin.

Every time you see her flawless face, you think, Seriously, how does she do it?

Here’s the thing: Her secret is simple — she has flawless skin because she’s nailed the best daily routine.

Another secret? So can you.

Here’s how!

USE AN ORGANIC FACE OIL

The difference between conventional and organic face oils are night and day.

Organic oils are made with the most pure ingredients. Rich with vitamins and antioxidants, organic formulas can be effective in restoring skin, preventing damage, tackling wrinkles or healing acne.

I started using Malaya’s Rejuvenating Face Serum a few months ago, and I am about to purchase my second bottle! Definitely a stand-out for me. Anti-inflammatory and rich Siberian Cedar Nut Oil is blended with Gardenia Absolute’s antioxidant and collagen-synthesizing properties to nourish skin, keeping it healthy and balanced.

This harmonious fusion of bioactive essences, solar charged herbal extracts and nourishing omega fatty acid rich oils quickly absorb into skin. Teeming with ingredients rich in vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients, this 100% natural elixir is both youth promoting and suitable for problematic skin. My combination skin loves this oil. It’s both soothing and moisturizing. I use a jade roller (more on this awesome tool below!) to gently massage the serum into my skin every morning and the results have been miraculous!

I first started using this serum during a period of extreme discomfort in my skin – and now I know I’ll never stop! I began during a period of time when I’d wake up with dry patches that made me want to go straight back to bed. Wearing makeup (sometimes even talking!) was impossible because of the dryness. Within just a few weeks of using this face serum (and doing some other tips mentioned in this article!), and my skin was massively improving. I visibly looked much less dehydrated. I also use it on my lips as a moisturizer and it works wonders.

After a full month of using it, my skin looks totally on point! Clear, moisturized and dewey. I don’t need makeup at all now, and my skin feels really balanced! Mission accomplished!

MOISTURIZE YOUR BODY – LIKE THIS:

I don’t know about you, but no one in my family exactly made moisturizing a priority, so by the time I started this must-have ritual in my twenties, I had a lot of catching up to do! Dermatologists say that the best time to apply moisturizer is immediately following a bath or shower. This can fight cellulite, dry skin, wrinkles, sagging skin, discoloration and more! After the shower is my favorite time to do it, too!

Here’s a pro tip: While you’re drying off, pat your skin dry rather than rubbing it, and leave a little water on the skin. Lock in the moisture by applying an organic body oil, like Malaya’s Body Oil in Woods, to still-damp skin.

Woods has become my newest body oil obsession! An intoxicating blend of precious botanicals like fan-favorites Bergamot, Sandalwood, and Bulgarian Rose, I apply this every morning after my shower and directly after my bath at night. It smells amazing! Totally up my alley. This luxurious oil erupts in a breathtaking bouquet that is both woodsy and feminine. Great for you – or even a favorite man in your life! I also adore the Citrus blend by Malaya.

COLLAGEN COLLAGEN COLLAGEN

Is it the morning? K, then I’m probably sipping away on a smoothie.

I live and die by the smoothie.

I’ve made a smoothie every morning (and most of the time – before bed at night) for the last 6 years. You could say it’s my most predictable habit. I make them fresh and I’m not normally big on powders. They either taste like a gross protein powder or they’re too grainy for me. In other words, I notice them, and usually stay far, far away.

Not anymore!

Now you can drink your way to great skin – simply!

Vital Proteins Beauty Greens has been in every smoothie I’ve made for the last season, and I don’t know where my skin would be without this delicious blend! Not only is it yummy, this powder has the ability to help your skin AND your joints like no other supplement I know of! After using it for just a week, I noticed that my skin had a glow to it, my nails were coming in stronger and my hair had a beautiful shine.

A study that was recently published proves that oral collagen peptide supplementation significantly increased skin hydration after just 8 weeks of intake!! Nutrition is a key factor influencing skin health and consequently its appearance. Add Moon Juice’s Beauty Dust to give this an extra boost! This will also allow your face and body oils to work much better!

TONE UP

Rose water has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce the redness of irritated skin, get rid of acne, dermatitis and eczema. It is a great cleanser and aids in removing oil and dirt that has accumulated in clogged pores. Cleopatra was believed to have used it as a part of her beauty regime, and for generations, rose has been used by women across the world to enhance their beauty.

Due to the astringent like properties it possesses, rose water helps clean pores and tone the skin. Applying rose water after steaming tightens capillaries, reduces redness and blotchiness.

I gently spray this organic rose water on my face every single morning, after showers, baths and to refresh throughout the day. Rose water hydrates, revitalizes and moisturizes the skin, and makes it smooth.

FACIAL MASSAGE

Facial massage can help rejuvenate the skin to make it glow and feel completely refreshed. A good facial massage increase the blood supply to the face, giving it a healthy, noticeable glow. It also helps relieve tension from the facial muscles. There are so many promising advantages!

Massage can help increase muscle tone, strength and tighten muscles, giving you a “natural face lift”. It can visibly slow down the aging process and achieve younger looking and healthier skin. It is also used to relieve stress, migraine headache, premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and sinus congestion, among many other health benefits.

I use my gua sha massage tool gently on my face once a day and my jade roller 2-4 times a week.  Stimulating the face muscles with regular massage helps to bring oxygen to that area—which is a natural form of anti aging skin care in itself. However the length of time for a facial massage required depends on your skin type.

For oily and acne-prone skin, it’s best to keep it to under 10 minutes. If skin has a normal to dry complexion, no longer than 20 minutes is necessary (too much stimulation may lead to breakouts). Also, be sure to clean your massage tools before every application with a gentle organic soap.
